Automating your business online can help simplify a marketing plan. Many people that know me know how I speak a lot about simplifying this and simplifying that. I’m a strong believer in simplifying everything I do, including: Job Housework Family Online Time This thought process started back when I was in college. A good friend of mine sent me a letter with a tip that has stuck with me forever. My good friend “Lee” was giving advice about attending college and he made a comment for me to work hard and *simplify *my study habits. That thought process has stuck with me to this day and I am thankful that I had a friend that cared enough to give me some good solid advice which helped set the path for a successful future! After today …

Advertising

Nearly all businesses, big or little, irrespective of what product they sell, they want this to be successful in selling whatever goods and services they’re selling. We see them everywhere in our humdrum lives ; we see them in flyers, television commercials, poster advertisements, walls, theaters, sides of buses, and even on the sides of milk boxes, and we even hear advertising on radios and phones.

Advertising is a tool companies reach out to more folk to buy their goods. It’s a fact that a business will only grow just a bit or not at all without advertising.

Prospering businesses hire advertising firms to advertise for them, it is probably better than getting your workers out at streetlevel advertising your services and products for you.

Advertising itself is a business, and you may think that this type of business is excellent for making money and you are right, it does make plenty of money. Businesses pay big money to advertise their product.

The same goes for the internet. Online businesses have many ways to advertise their goods and services ; one of the most common techniques is to advertise thru affiliate marketing programmes.

Despite what products such as The Rich Janitor may lead you to think, affiliate marketing has been about for quite some time now, and it still blooming. If you’re planning to get into the affiliate marketing business, you become successful in it.

First off you’ve got to know what affiliate marketing is all about, how it operates, and what should be expected.

Affiliate marketing works by signing up a domain as an affiliate of an online business to advertise for them. Keep under consideration that you’ll not be really selling the product but you just have to pre-sell the product or services.

This means that if you sign up as an affiliate of a web business your website becomes pretty much like a poster advertisement or an advertising space. Unlike poster advertisements, online businesses will not pay you to post their links on a website but they can only pay you a commission if a visitor from your internet site clicks the link and buys the product or services the online business is offering.

I’ve had a few people ask me, ‘Danna, what do you sell on eBay?’ I give a smile while I answer the question, ‘I mostly sell myself on eBay!’ People will look at me kind of dumbfounded when I answer their question but the truth is, I am selling my consulting services on eBay! Many businesses overlook the possibilities of selling themselves on eBay. There are many different avenues of selling yourself on eBay depending on your services. A good way to get started is to think of how you could write an advertisement or a commercial for your business. Then condense that commercial into an eBay listing. EBay is not only the world’s largest online marketplace; it is also the world’s largest online marketing place! EBay is a brilliant tool f…

In my business I expect the best, no exceptions. This goes for my business partner, my family and anyone that I do business with. That may make me seem like an awful person. I’m really not that bad. I just figure if you are going to put forth the effort, why not do the best that you can. When we started our business we knew what would make us stand out from our competition. It would be our US: our service, our attitude and how we would treat our customers. I know I blog about customer service a lot, I think that is because as much as SEO, email marketing, etc. is important to a the success of a business, SERVICE, the best service, is what keeps your customer coming back to you again and again. Right now over 30% of our business …

Shopping Channels: The 5-Reason eCommerce Boost With the double-digit growth in Internet shopping, more online retailers are looking for a way to energize their marketing plan and zero in on their target audience. One of the reasons I love working in eCommerce is because it really levels the playing field for small businesses and allows them to compete more effectively with larger retailers. One such platform where small-to-medium sized busiensses can increase their online visibility and attract more quality traffic is Comparison Shopping Engines (CSEs). For many online retailers, shopping channel marketing holds some real advantages as a way to reach a large number of highly motivated shoppers, and is quickly becoming a powerful ma…

Many website owners have spent countless hours researching SEO and marketing their sites. eBay store owners are the same with keyword placements. Most all eBay sellers put great thought into the title of an item using it as a lure to bring people into each listing. We all work hard and play little trying to compete, upgrade and optimize ourselves in the virtual world of selling online. Today I wanted to encourage the readers of Practical eCommerce to seek out some local opportunities. I feel this is an area that is overlooked and many times not even considered. We tend to get so busy with our online presence that we don’t even consider looking in our own back yard. There are many tools available right down the street in your commun…

How To Make Money On MySpace – Tips and Secrets

Web 2.0 and Social Networking are awesome tools, if used properly, will enable you to generate massive amounts of targeted traffic and in turn high sales volume.

Most online marketers are aware of social networking like Facebook and MySpace, but there are many other online networks arising. It seems I get a request to join a new one about everyday in my e-mail. The only other one I have joined is BetterNetworker because of the great information that is shared and the experienced network marketers you can meet on it. I personally am not interested in joining any others besides these because these three generate HUGE amounts of traffic and each have very high page rank in Google, thus giving me solid incoming links. These sites also have generated a lot of traffic to my main sites and increased my income tremendously.

I have mostly used article marketing in the past, but I am now venturing into the video marketing area. Here is what I can recommend to you thus far. First, post your videos in more sites than Youtube. Use Tube Mogul to post to multiple video sharing sites at one time. Next load them into MySpace and post a bulletin driving your friends to that watch that video. (On a side note you are going to want to use a piece of software that enables you to add friends easily and quickly. I highly recommend using Add New Friends. It’s very easy to set up and use.)

If you are at a loss as to what to put into your videos, how to create them and how to get traffic for them then the best training I know of is by DK at MLM Goldmine. You need to check out more details about the MLM Goldmine Web 2.0/video marketing training. DK generates a six figure income using these free methods on Youtube and MySpace. All it requires is your digital camera and a way to get those videos on your computer. If you have that you have a way to make money online.

Enjoy!

One of the things you need to be careful about when you are marketing your website is to not spam the search engines. Spamming the search engines is something that can actually get you penalized, or actually banned from the search results. So what are some of the things that are considered spam?

What is Spam? – Inserting Too Many Keywords
When you are keyword stuffing. In places you would normally optimize your website, if you are including five, ten, fifteen, twenty, thirty or more key words in those sorts of places where you really only need one or two key words, that’s spamming.

What is Spam? – Inserting Too Many Keywords -Creating Duplicate Content
Another common tactic is to create duplicate content, or doorway pages. This is something that used to work in the late 90s and 2001-2002, but it’s something that is very easily detected by search engines, and you shouldn’t do it, because you’re going to get penalized. What you should focus on when you are optimizing your website is to focus on what’s good for the user. Short-term tricks are just that, they’re short term, and they can get you in trouble. What you want to focus on is creating valuable content that users are going to respond to, because that’s what search engines are doing—they are trying to identify those sites that offer the best user content possible.
